To safely and efficiently clear and stump roughly 100 acres of mature forest on steep terrain in a timely fashion to stay ahead of the general contractors’ aggressive schedule.
J.R. Vinagro maintained daily communication with the contractor and coordination with their ongoing work, which allowed our land clearing division to perform its work safely and efficiently. Our team effectively utilized 4 carefully chosen landings taking into consideration the needs of the general contractor, on-site trucking patterns, environmental impacts, and terrain restrictions. Experienced leadership allowed the team to move hundreds of trailer loads of wood products including chips, logs, and other wood products to markets where all of the material was utilized. Our team used both CAT and Weiler feller-bunchers, CAT, John Deere, and Tigercat skidders, Doosan log loaders and wood processors, Peterson Pacific chippers and 5 excavators to stump keeping ahead of the contractor's needs and schedule. We finished a month ahead of the general contractor’s deadline and never impeded work being done by others.
