J.R. Vinagro delivered a complete site work package for a large-scale distribution facility. Services performed by the team included erosion control, clearing, grubbing, earthmoving, blasting, crushing, utilities, building related E&B, parking lots and site finishes.
The project posed considerable challenges due to the extremely large quantity of material that needed to be moved on the 100-acre site within a strict six-week timeline to support the foundation schedule and get the facility ready for operation quickly.
J.R. Vinagro assembled a full construction team and equipped them with a fleet of heavy machinery consisting of Cat 6015B, Cat 395, Cat D10 dozer, cat D9 Dozer, 5 D8 dozers, (4) 374 excavators, 20 off-road trucks and 30 additional pieces of equipment. The project team moved more than 1.5 million yards of earth, blasted 100,000 cubic yards of rock, installed 72,000 linear feet of underground utilities, and constructed 155,000 square feet of segmental retaining walls—all within the six-week deadline—for an outstanding final product.
